We have 18 years to prepare them for a lifetime of independence. parenting is an investment into making adults we want to adult with.

Give many choices throughout the day. That way the child doesn't have to demand control through tantrums and arguments.

When we provide logical consequences, not punishments, we allow the children to own their decisions, while we comfort them with sincere empathy. We want them to make mistakes when they are in our care, as the costs are significant lower than when they make the same mistakes as adults.

Be consistent. Your no's mean no, and your yes's mean yes. There's no reason to argue when they know you mean what you say.

Core Beliefs

I’ve been there. I am there — as both a parent and as a professional.

For over 15 years, I’ve worked with kids and families in schools, homes, and community settings, helping them navigate behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges. I focus on practical tools, real-life strategies, and trauma-informed support that actually make a difference.

I’ve served as a Special Educator, Behavioral Specialist, Teen Anger Management Trainer, and Parenting Coach — but my experience isn’t just professional. I’m a multi-state licensed foster parent (mostly teens) and the mom of a child with autism. I live what I teach. Additionally, I am professionally trained and certified in a variety of "gentle" parting practices and have my Bachalor's degree (cum laude) in Speech Communications.

My goal is simple: to help families feel supported, confident, and equipped with tools that truly work.
